Sobucky has always been a company that takes pride in commitment, development, innovation and customer care, but we also take pride in our high levels of compliance, which is why you’ll find that we are completely accredited with all of our products being compliant with HACCP and GMP. For those of you who may be unaware, HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, and is not set as a standard, but it serves instead as a reference for the definition of standards such as ISO 22000 (international standard, relating to the safety of foodstuffs). Although this is not a regulation, it remains important to us and our industry in remaining with integrity within our product as well as how we function as a company.
The HACCP is a tool as such, for catering professionals. This working method ensures higher standards of food hygiene by taking the following factors into account such as:
· Physical hazards from wood or glass material in particular
· Biological hazards (bacteria and viruses)
· Chemical hazards found arising from the presence of additives or pesticides
The 7 stages of Identification, Evaluation and Description (IED) of control measures follow each another to create what is known as the HACCP:
· Hazard analysis
· Determination of critical points
· Determination of critical thresholds
· Implementation of monitoring systems, allowing the company being examined to control the identified dangers· Chemical hazards found arising from the presence of additives or pesticides
· Determination of the corrective measures to be taken by the company if a critical point is not under control· Chemical hazards found arising from the presence of additives or pesticides
· Application of the procedure to verify the correct functioning of the HACCP system· Chemical hazards found arising from the presence of additives or pesticides
· A compilation of the summary file of the procedures and their implementation.· Chemical hazards found arising from the presence of additives or pesticides
Why does Sobucky Choose to be HACCP Accredited? · Chemical hazards found arising from the presence of additives or pesticides
The reason that Sobucky has chosen to become HACCP accredited is that since 2005, incorporating HACCP principles, the ISO 22000 standard has been applied to the entire Agri-food sector, and aims to facilitate the vast growth and management of food safety, thanks to good practice guides concerning hygiene and general practices within the working environment. · Chemical hazards found arising from the presence of additives or pesticides

Sobucky, GMP Accreditation
Why does Sobucky have Accreditation by Good Manufacturing Practices?
The meaning of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP, also referred to as 'cGMP' or 'current Good Manufacturing Practice') is the aspect of quality assurance that ensures that all medicinal products are consistently produced and controlled to the highest of quality standards appropriate to their intended use and as required by the product specification. The reason Sobucky chooses for this accreditation is because we feel it is beneficial in upholding our world class standard. GMP defines high quality measures for both production and for quality control, and defines general measures to ensure that the processes necessary for production and testing are as clearly defined as possible, validated, reviewed, and documented, and that the personnel, premises and materials are suitable for the production of pharmaceuticals and biologicals including but not limited to vaccines. GMP also has legal components, covering responsibilities for distribution, contract manufacturing and testing, and responses to product defects and complaints. Specific GMP requirements are relevant to classes of products such as sterile pharmaceuticals or biological medicinal products and are provided in a series of annexes to the general GMP requirements. Full GMP definition thanks to World Health Organization.
